As the weather heats up, block party season is in full swing here in the Twin Cities. And typically one of the best free music festivals in the area, the Red Stag Block Party, has just announced the lineup they have planned for their big day.
On Saturday, August 3, from 5-10:30 p.m., Red Stag will be hosting their 7th annual block party outside of their distinguished Northeast supper club -- a day filled with great bands, food and drink, and plenty of vibrant entertainment for people of all ages.

Bad Bad Hats
All Tomorrow's Petty
Additional entertainment will be provided by Heart of the Beast Puppet & Mask Theater, the energetic dance collective Epitome-No Question, the North Star Roller Girls, with the entire festivities hosted by MC Foxy Tran.
While attendance is free, a portion the food and beverage sales will serve to benefit the Youth Farm Market & Project, which provides year-round, agriculture based youth development in five Twin Cities neighborhoods -- Lyndale and Powderhorn in South Minneapolis, Hawthorne in North Minneapolis, and the Frogtown and West Side neighborhoods in St. Paul.
The Red Stag Block Party also prides itself on being a zero waste event, partnering with Eureka Recycling to ensure that all the discards at the event get recycled, reused, and composted, making the Block Party a waste free celebration of music, food, arts, and culture.
