Record Store Day 2014: Twin Cities events guide

The exclusive, limited-edition releases aren't the only things that get music fans to come out in droves on Record Store Day. Many local, independent record shops go all out for the big day, bringing in a strong lineup of bands, food, and refreshments for their patrons, making the event that much more special for everyone involved.
This year, plenty of record shops throughout the Twin Cities have stellar entertainment line-ups planned for Record Store Day. Here's a handy list to let you know all the musical festivities that await you tomorrow.

Specials/Food: Glam Doll Donuts and Peace Coffee will be available, with World Street Kitchen and Chef Shack food trucks on site. Music in the Zoo giveaways in store throughout the day. Limited Lizzo 7" with $20+ purchases.

Hours: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Specials/Food: Nearly 300 exclusive Record Store Day releases, copies of Lizzo's 7" for those who spend more than $25 (and ask specifically for the Lizzo record), and one of the best curated vinyl selections in the Twin Cities.
Recent Sub Pop signee, Lee Bains, will play an acoustic in-store set at 5 p.m. before his performance at the 7th Street Entry later in the evening.

Specials/Food: Free breakfast, coffee, baked goods, Chicago-style veggie dogs, and a plethora of exclusive (punk rock focused) releases.
In-store performances from Zero, Fucking, and Serenghetto beginning at noon. Later that night, Extreme Noise are sponsoring a free RSD show at the Hexagon, featuring Pop Crimes, Camden, Fucking, and Zero.
