Prince to host Pajama Dance Party at Paisley Park
Didn't get enough Prince action earlier this month at his impromptu Paisley Park show? The Purple One has announced another public event at his Chanhassen complex scheduled for Saturday, October 19. (It is confirmed that this is early Saturday morning following Friday night.)
This Pajama Dance Party will apparently mark the debut of The Breakfast Experience, a release of undetermined contents and length. Little is known about the project, but we can bet that "Breakfast Can Wait" -- which recently debuted a new music video -- will be on it.
A few days ago, Prince released this teaser video via the @3rdEyeGirl twitter account.
And early Wednesday, he tweeted out the flyer below. So, the details on this Pajama Party include a 2 a.m. start time, and a request that you "dress to impress, keep it classy." Silk pajamas if you got 'em. There is nothing in this announcement that confirms that Prince will be serving us pancakes, but it would be the ideal conclusion to an all-night party. Just saying.
Prince's The Breakfast Experience Pajama Dance Party. $50 donation, 2 a.m., Saturday, October 19, at Paisley Park Studios, 7801 Audubon Rd., Chanhassen. No alcoholic drinks allowed, no cell phones, no audio recorders, no cameras, no reentry. Limited parking on-site, and traffic will be directed to overflow lots once it fills. More on attending at Paisley Park here.
