Prince debuts afro hairstyle, talks Welcome 2 Chicago on The View

Yes, Prince has returned to his literal roots. Look back to his mid-'70s yearbook photo if you need a refresher, but the Purple One emerged with an afro to discuss his upcoming Welcome 2 Chicago shows in October (now there are three) on The View. As you might recall, he made a surprise appearance on the show two years ago to promote his Welcome 2 America dates.

Not enough Andy Allo talk for our taste, though. You also have to sit through Elizabeth Hasselbeck admitting that she left the Prince show she attended before it was over. Boo! Ex-Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura also appeared on the program

According to Star Tribune's Chris Riemenschneider, today also marked the debut of a new Prince song called "RnR Affair" on several R&B stations. Does that keyboard line sound more than a little bit like "Take Me With You" from Purple Rain? We'll add a stream once it is available.
