Music & Movies in Loring Park kickoff moved indoors due to weather

With severe weather hitting the metro area, the Walker Art Center has decided to move its inaugural 2011 Music & Movies night in Loring Park indoors to the Walker Cinema, which unfortunately only fits about 330 people (the recurring night usually draws over 1,000). According to the Walker, admission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, with doors opening a DJ set by the Current's Bill DeVille kicking off the evening at 6:30 p.m.
The evening's scheduled musical act, Haley Bonar, will still perform at 7 p.m., with a screening of Rear Window starting at 9.
This means that only two of the season's four Music & Movies events will actually take place in Loring Park this summer, weather permitting. The Walker had already planned to host the series finale on their own Walker Field grounds on Monday, August 22, with Dark Dark Dark and a screening of Fritz Lang's Spies.
Here's the whole schedule again:
Monday, August 1
Music: Haley Bonar
Movie: Rear Window (Alfred Hitchcock)
The Current DJ: Bill DeVille
Monday, August 8
Music: No Bird Sing
Movie: 1,000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse (Fritz Lang)
Current DJ: Mary Lucia
Monday, August 15
Music: Buffalo Moon
Movie: Blow-Up (Michelangelo Antonioni)
Current DJs: The Morning Show
Monday, August 22
Open Field, Walker Art Center
Music: Dark Dark Dark and the Modern Times Spychestra
Movie: Spies (Fritz Lang)
