Morrissey postpones U.S. tour to be with his ailing mother

Morrissey just announced he has postponed the remainder of his U.S. tour dates. Earlier this week, the ex-Smiths crooner put on hold all of his shows this week up until Monday's stop in Minneapolis, but he has now decided to reschedule all of the concerts so he can spend time with his ailing mother in England. This cancellation includes Monday's Orpheum Theatre show. Details below.

From Jam Productions:

All remaining dates on the current US Tour have been postponed - but not cancelled - as Morrissey has returned to England where his mother has been hospitalized and is unwell. Due to issues with his mother's health, Morrissey will need to remain by her side during this difficult period.

Those who have already purchased tickets for all upcoming dates are highly encouraged to hold on to their tickets and look out for the rescheduled dates.

The new dates will be announced shortly.  Morrissey would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as the shows are being prepared for a swift reschedule.

We will provide an update as soon as new dates are available.
