Minnesota Public Radio's Wits announces spring 2013 lineup

Oh, the fantastic synergy of Minnesota Public Radio's Wits is back for another star-packed season. With the mix of big-time actors and musicians with the seasoned players and host John Moe, it's like Saturday Night Live, but held on Friday (or even Thursday), and recorded for radio!
As is expected, this season is filled with comedians and rock 'n' roll heroes spread over 10 dates between March 15 and June 14. These pairings -- including Neko Case, A.C. Newman, Metric, Rufus Wainwright on the music end -- shall be confounding, and irresistible. Check out the full lineup, all shows to be held at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, below.

Tickets for the entire season go on sale on Wednesday, February 20, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fitzgerald Theater. On Thursday, February 21 at noon, season ticket packages of 5 shows or more go on sale. Single show tickets begin selling on Tuesday, February 26 at noon. More info at the Fitzgerald website.
