MC/VL's final show, album announced

Ill-getting spaz-rap duo MC/VL have been noticeably absent from our radars for a spell, presumably working on new songs and perfecting the art of tandem beer wasting. At least half of that is right, as they have announced they are releasing a new record on January 8 with a show at the Turf Club. Sadly, it's to be their last.

A hand-numbered, "prison-sleeved" CD-R affair, Vicious Lee and Mighty Clyde's final album will be available for free at the good-bye show, where we expect much bittersweet drunkenness and table-standing.

Also joining them on the 8th are: Pink Mink, Slapping Purses, and Kitten Forever. A scratch for every itch.

And for all you retrospectives, you can read our profile from 2007's Picked 2 Click issue here, and watch MC/VL performing in the daytime below.
