Patrick Kelly pleaded guilty Monday in Hennepin County District Court to felony stalking and terroristic threats against 89.3 the Current DJ Mary Lucia.

The 56-year-old Eden Prairie resident told the court "I want to take full responsibility," the Pioneer Press reports. He will be sentenced October 13.

Kelly emailed Lucia at work last year following the death of her dog. After that, "the floodgates opened," the popular radio host told the Pioneer Press.

Among the disturbing things to which Kelly admitted: leaving candles, wine, flowers, and notes on the stoop of Lucia's Minneapolis home, violating a restraining order issued last July.

One note, which read "I wake up thinking of you and repeat before bed," prompted an arrest warrant to be issued last October.

Beginning in April, Lucia went on a temporary leave of absence from the Current. "We continue to support her as she takes the time away she needs to heal," the station's owner, American Public Media, said in a statement. Lucia was voted Best Radio Personality in our 2014 Readers' Choice Contest.
