Dear internet, Mark Mallman is on his way to making some sort of musical history this week. Known for his feats of technological and musical mayhem, Mallman and his team are heading cross-country to create a seven-day documentary song in a pimped-out 1992 Vandura conversion van. The project began in New York on September 15, and continues until he reaches the song's coda in Los Angeles on September 22.

Along the way, Mallman and the many devices attached to his body are scheduled to stop in Minneapolis for performances Tuesday afternoon/evening. The full schedule and live stream is below.

And, if Mallman's songs of more conventional length interest you, here's the title track from his forthcoming album due October 9. The lyrics "Join me on my road to ruin/ because it's the only thing worth pursuing" are a poetic way of looking at what's happening right now.
