M.anifest releases new track
Ghanaian immigrant-turned-local hip-hop powerhouse M.anifest unleashed a new track today in honor of his Ghana's soccer team defeating Brazil in the Under-20 World Cup. The track is off his forthcoming The Birds & the Beats mixtape, which will be released on his birthday, November 20. In a message on his Facebook page, M.anifest says he wrote this song on March 5, the 52nd anniversary of Ghana's achievement of independence from the UK. "Its a reflective one," he says, "and I sought a more organic feel to the music to match the feel. Budo killed it with the instruments. Enjoy."
