We'd call the Lyn-Lake Street Festival a dependably great time, but whether or not the event will actually materialize is an annual question.

Citing a "lack of available time and resources," organizers mothballed the 2015 installment, the second time since 2009 the fest has been canceled.

This year, we have confirmation: The free, charity-minded block party is indeed set to go down June 5 from noon to 8 p.m. Here's the 2016 local music lineup, highlighted by Rhymesayers-signed indie-rap heavyweight Brother Ali.

  • Brother Ali

  • Sean Anonymous

  • Gramma's Boyfriend

  • Birthday Suits

  • Al Church

  • Warehouse Eyes

  • Sloslylove
Summit Brewing Co. will handle your drinking needs; food trucks will also be on hand, including Finnegans "Reverse Food Truck," which takes donations to local food shelves.

And don't let the name fool ya: The Lyn-Lake Street Fest actually takes place between Lyndale and Garfield avenues, right behind the Jungle Theater.
