Mixed Blood Majority and several more will perform at this year's Red Stag Block Party

Red Stag Supperclub is teaming with the Growler for the "In Cahoots" edition of its annual block party on August 2.

It's not a Minneapolis block party without live music, entertaining hosts, and local beer offerings, but this Red Stag/Growler partnership is not just trotting out any standard beer lineup; the event will feature five brand-new beers made collaboratively by 10 different Minnesota breweries. Attendees can enjoy one-off creations from Schell's/Bent, Fulton/Fair State, Sociable Cider Werks/Dangerous Man, Summit/Bent Paddle, and Bang/TBA while taking in free live entertainment outside the beloved Northeast restaurant.

Hosted by MC Foxy Tann, this year's lineup include Mixed Blood Majority, Al Church, Black Market Brass, Field Trip, Lydia Liza, the World's Most Dangerous Polka Band, and more. Partygoers can also catch dance collective Epitome No Question and checkout onsite screenprinting by Burlesque of North America.

The party takes place in Red Stag's parking lot from 2 to 8 p.m., and attendees get to vote on their favorite beer collaboration. It's not just a pride thing, though. The winning breweries will choose a charity to receive a portion of the proceeds from the event. "In Cahoots" is a zero-waste event that celebrates Minnesota the best way we know how: exposed to the elements, beer in hand.
