Jimmy Kimmel hires the unemployable
There's good news for parents whose grown kids still live in the basement: ABC talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel wants to hire a professional TV-watcher. In what smells more like a desperate attempt to garner publicity for his truly lousy program, Kimmel announced Friday night that he's looking for someone whose sole job will be to watch television, with an eye for "humorous clips for his opening monologue." Details and an application form are posted at the show's website, and the yearly salary is around $26,000. It sounds like a job from hell, but the bright spot is that the one show the new employee won't have to watch is Jimmy Kimmel Live.
