Janelle Monae cancels Taste of MN appearance

Well that was fast... only four days after announcing that Janelle Monae would perform on Friday, July 2 for Taste of Minnesota, the festival has sent out a note that says she canceled her appearance "due to a conflicting European promotion." The Taste promoters say that the Current will announce the remainder of its Friday headliners on the main stage soon; we heard a rumor that the announcement will be made this coming Tuesday.
As always, we'll post updates as soon as we receive them. We're sad to see Monae swiped off the bill so quickly.
