Next month, Art-a-Whirl will descend on northeast Minneapolis, bringing a wave of arts, live music, and food trucks that gets bigger every year. Indeed Brewing Company just announced plans for their third annual party to celebrate the community festival.
Dubbing the three-day party Whirlygig, Indeed has teamed up with First Avenue to assemble a lineup featuring Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Mark Mallman, and Grant Hart, with 14 more bands gracing the stage over the weekend.
The outdoor stage and an increased taproom capacity gives music and brew lovers a chance to soak up the sun and enjoy a few of their popular beers, including the return of LSD Honey Ale. Other bands set to play include Paul Metzger, Little Man, American Scarecrows, Nato Coles & the Blue Diamond Band, Rupert Angeleyes, and a Ventures cover band.
To further celebrate the arts festival, the MN Brewery Running Series is holding a 5K on Sunday. Food trucks featured at Indeed throughout the weekend will include Gastrotruck, El Taco Riendo, Red River Kitchen, Natedogs, Simply Steve's, and Little G's Pizzeria.
