To celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Michael Jackson's Thriller, Google Play is giving away free downloads of the landmark 1982 album. Click here to score your freebie copy of the LP, which is available today through Thanksgiving for U.S. residents only.

Featuring mega-hits like "The Girl Is Mine," "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and the title track, Thriller nabbed eight Grammys, including Album of the Year. It's the best-selling album in the history of music, and the rock scholars over at Rolling Stone rank it No. 20 on their tally of the 200 Greatest Albums of All Time. The super-scary "Thriller" music video, posted below, is considered one of the best ever. Take a 13-minute breather from your regular Friday slacking and give 'er a re-watch.

Jackson died in 2009 of drug intoxication. He was 50. His doctor,  Conrad Murray, was convinced of involuntary manslaughter in 2011. Here's hoping Jackson is moonwalking with God now, on the actual moon, where heaven is located (sadly, it's possible he's moonwalking with Ol' Scratch).

Either way, let's celebrate this article's dynamite headline with a super-cut of Michael Jackson going "hee-hee!"
