Heath Ledger-directed Modest Mouse video surfaces
Over 18 months after the tragic death of Heath Ledger, Modest Mouse has released a video directed by the late actor for their song "King Rat." According to Rolling Stone, the blueprint for the video and some of the animation had been completed at the time of Ledger's death, and the video was completed by film and music company Masses, with whom Ledger was once a creative partner.
The video's postscript reads, "This began with our friend, a great defender of life, and was completed in his spirit."
The video will be available from iTunes starting August 7, the same day as the release of Modest Mouse's new EP, No One's First, And You're Next.
