Summer may still be in full swing here in Minnesota, but in Sweden the dog days will soon be drawing to a close, leading to cooler, longer nights. Kräftskiva is a traditional party celebrating the crayfish harvesting season, and this Saturday a sliver of Sweden can be had in the Twin Cities at the Bachelor Farmer's Block Party.
The event will feature performances from Halloween, Alaska and City on the Make along with generous portions of the celebrated crayfish, meatballs, sweet corn, snow cones and drinks from Fulton beer and Aquavit.
The Bachelor Farmer has been making a name for itself in the Twin Cities by serving uncomplicated and fresh organic dishes, using their own rooftop grown herbs and ingredients. The restaurant was recently featured in a New York Times article talking about their innovative menu.
The event will take place this Saturday, August 4 alongside the Bachelor Farmer.
