Halloween, Alaska, Gay Witch Abortion, Idle Hands play benefit at First Ave tonight

7th St. Entry sound engineer Matt Lindquist was recently struck ill with both pnemonia and H1N1, adding his name to the mounting list of people in our local music community who can't afford to cover their expenses when a medical emergency hits. To help, First Avenue is throwing a benefit show tonight for Lindquist and the Twin Cities Community Trust (which raises money for exactly these types of situations), and they've booked a great bill of local talent to support the cause. Tonight's show will be hosted by Brother Ali and will feature Halloween, Alaska, Gay Witch Abortion, and more.

Here's the full lineup, with set times:

8:30 Tal Tahir

9:00 Story of the Sea

9:40 Halloween Alaska

10:25 Murzik

11:05 The Idle Hands

11:50 Gay Witch Abortion

According to the First Ave site, there will also be raffle prizes for local haunts like Dusty's Bar, First Avenue, O'Donovans, Pizza Luce and more.
