Tattoos have been fully in the mainstream for well over a decade now. No one is surprised by much in the way of body art these days - I've got some, you've probably got at least one, maybe on your hand or something. They're probably dumb (mine are, at least).
Nope, nothing's really shocking anymo-...holy shit is that Gucci Mane with an ice cream cone on his face?!
Well yeah, it is. He got it yesterday in Georgia, and he's been weirding out Internet America ever since the owner of that shop tweeted the picture. "Brrr" says Gucci's face's ice cream cone.
If you think it's kinda gross you're mostly wrong; for a guy with the video game company Electronic Arts' logo assuming the place on his throat (the very front) where most tattoos depict Jesus or something important like that, an ice cream cone on your face is exactly the next step. From Rolling Stone about 15 minutes ago
as of this writing, Gucci's manager explains what we all figured out already: "a reminder to fans of how he chooses to live his life. Cool as ice. As in 'I'm so icy, I'll make ya say Brr.'" Probably should've given that statement himself to avoid sounding like that.
How have other musicians chosen to express how they choose to live their life? Let's peek.
The Vivian Girls like yummy foods such as ice cream shakes, burgers, and sodium. They sure do make terrible music.
Biohazard's Evan Seinfeld has this on his left hand, winding its way up all of his fingers all Black Swan
style. Between this, his facial hair, and his choice of lady
, I think we can all figure how he likes to get down.
There's no beating around the bush here -- if you're getting knuckle tattoos you could do worse than to take some inspiration from the lovely script on P.O.S.'s fingers.
DJ Pauly D is only minutely musical, but enough to warrant making fun of him. And there's nothing that really needs to be said to do so.
To wrap things up we better end with a doozy. Coolio's misspelled juggalo tattoo is the weirdest rock-bottom grab for attention possibly ever. He said it was on purpose, and I'm inclined to believe him. I'm also inclined to get that on my inner lip.
