Grand Old Day's 2013 lineup: Har Mar Superstar, Night Moves, & more

St. Paul's Grand Old Day has had the "grand" part down for years. The largest one-day festival in the Midwest has consistently entertained Minnesota families and fun-lovers with top-notch music and merriment along St. Paul's stately, historic Grand Avenue for decades.
And now, the "old" part in the festival's name is truly appropriate as well, as Grand Old Day is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and has a great lineup planned to mark the festive occasion on Sunday, June 2.
Har Mar Superstar and Night Moves are set to headline the Dixie's On Grand Stage, while Hookers $ Blow will close things down at the Billy's On Grand Stage. The KQRS Stage at Pier 1 features a wild musical double shot of ELnO and Apollo Cobra, while Tim Sigler headlines the Wild Onion Stage.
In addition to the music planned on the six separate stages set up for Grand Old Day, there is also a celebratory parade scheduled to run along Grand Avenue -- between Dale and Fairview Avenue -- beginning at 9:30 a.m., as well as plenty of family fun and great food on offer throughout the day.
Grand Old Day runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. The festival is free to attend and all ages are welcome. However, music fans looking to enter the festival gardens where the performances take place must be 21 years of age or older, and need a wristband for entry. Wristbands can be purchased on the day of the festival for $8, with a valid ID.
