Grab a hanky. No seriously, you're gonna need it. Glen Campbell has just released a bittersweet video to lend sound and images to the final days of his farewell tour, and it's a doozy. In it, the country singer, guitarist and sometimes television host and actor reflects upon his life, family, and fifty-plus-year music career, now coming to an end following an Alzheimer's diagnosis last year.

Directed by Kii Arens and Jason Trucco, who have also recently collaborated with Devo, "A Better Place" is the second video from Glen Campbell's final album, Ghost on the Canvas. Short and sweet, with intro and outro featuring vocals that make it impossible to forget this is a man who once backed the Beach Boys singing falsetto harmonies on tour, the song itself clocks in at just around two minutes. The third minute features a note from Campbell, with thanks to his friends and family and a personal message to his wife, a one-time Radio City Music Hall dancer he met on a blind date in 1981. "My love goes out to Kim, my amazing grace. You've been by my side through these changing times and it means the world to me."

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, who oddly seems to be popping up left and right these days (recently collaborating with Florence + the Machine on a cover of "Jackson") makes a cameo in the video as Campbell's very serious barkeep.

Campbell is maintaining a robust tour schedule between now and his final show later this year, appearing everywhere from L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl, to Bayfield's Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua, and a number of August dates in Australia and New Zealand. If his recent show at Mystic serves as any indication, these final performances are not to be missed... and you're gonna wanna hold on to that hanky 'til the last encore.
