Get an awesome Replacements poster and support Slim Dunlap
When the Replacements announced their first hometown show in over 20 years at Midway Stadium, an impressive Twins logo-inspired poster came along with it. This weekend, more local artists are getting in on the nostalgic fun for a great cause.
Kinda Like Some Artists: The Replacements Poster Show will showcase prints from 20 local artists this Sunday, August 24 at Hamilton Ink Spot and a concert will follow at Amsterdam Bar and Hall in St. Paul. Proceeds will go towards medical bills for Replacements guitarist Bob "Slim" Dunlap, who suffered a stroke in 2012.
The poster sale begins at Hamilton Ink Spot at 4 p.m. Posters included feature art by Aesthetic Apparatus, Kjel Alkire, Sam Anderson, Kii Arens, Doug Bratland, Mary Bruno, James Dankert, Monica Edwards Larson, Joe Fahey, Jeff Johnson, Tom Hazelmyer, Rick Love, Cory Loven, Bill Moran, Jon Reischl, Dan Shearen, Chip Schilling, Natalie Wynans and Jason Yoh.
