If you have ever been to a dance night at the Kitty Cat Klub, then you know it involves a big crowd and a lot of fun. Jonathan Ackerman will spin tunes with sets from Travis Stearns and Gerald Is Growing. 21+. 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Vigilante Justice III

This super cool show will have visual art; giveaways; indie rock and experimental music from Hunting Club, Phantom Tails, and Dada Trash Collage; DJ sets from Dominique Davis (of Dearling Physique) and Midnight Energy. 9 p.m.

Til Death Do Us Part

They may be a couple, but in this dual art show Karen O'Bryan and RM Hanson explore the darker side of love. O'Bryan paints pastel-colored people wearing animal masks while Hanson creates nasty monsters with sharp teeth. The opening reception is tonight. 7 p.m.

This group art show features works in response to censored, banned, and burned books. The opening reception is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Common Sense: Art and the Quotidian

Can commonplace be used to create high art? What is high art? This new exhibition continues the ongoing debate. The preview party is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Art of Romance Soiree

Warm up to Valentine's Day at this party celebrating all things love. The evening will feature romantic poetry by members of the Saint Paul Poetry Slam, wine and chocolate, work by 65 artists, and locally-made candles and bath products. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Anthem Heart's Worn to be Wild

Anthem Heart is hosting another awesome party that runs late into the night. There will be live screen printing; visual art by Time Squid; and DJ sets by Jeff Dubois, DJ Bach, the Nightstalker, Monsterbrusten, and Ken Hannigan. Here's the trick: You have to get there before 12:30 a.m. to get in for free, and if you don't know where the studios are located, you need to email Anthem Heart on Facebook for directions. You'll have to wait until April for Voltage Fashion Amplified, but until then you can satisfy your craving with this flashback show featuring bands from Voltage past, including the Melismatics, First Communion Afterparty, and Black Blondie.
