Free beer, workshop
Could you be the next jingle writer to pen a memorable ear worm, like the National American University anthem (one day, one night, Saturday’s alright…)? Does your band have a song that is made for the background of the sports news segment on the 10 o’clock news? Have you always wanted to score a film? Then this free workshop is for you.
The event takes place at the Summit Brewery (910 Montreal Circle, St. Paul) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. next Saturday, November 15. The gig will include a panel talk featuring local musicians who make a living making music. Slated to give pointers, ideas, and constructive input, the panel of experts includes Bob Hest (aka "The Kings of the Jingle"), Steve Kramer (Hest & Kramer Music), award–winning producer/director Craig Rice, and locally–based musician/ film composer Chris Beaty. The event is free, with free beer for those 21 and over. Questions? For more info drop an email to [email protected]
