Eyeball the 10 Thousand Sounds festival poster

The team at Burlesque of North America put out some of the finest concert posters in, well... North America. Their archive features designs for Bonnaroo, the Arcade Fire, Rock the Garden, and countless others. So it was a no-brainer that we wanted Burlesque's Mike Davis in on creating a limited run of posters to commemorate the 2013 10 Thousand Sounds fest. Our new foray into music programming featuring the Walkmen, Free Energy, Greg Grease, Strange Names, Prissy Clerks, and the Chalice is on Saturday!

With the bustle of downtown and the ever-present food trucks nestled within every outdoor music fest as an inspiration, Davis conceived a gorgeous design that was adapted slightly to appear on the cover of City Pages this week. See the full results of his handiwork below.
