Hosting an annual event poses a tough dilemma: Does one keep it cozy and similar year in and year out, or ramp things up? Well, the fourth annual Electric Fetus Garage Sale and Fall Festival is going bigger. This year doesn’t just feature a clearance section and other merchandise markdowns — it’s got Low and its own Dangerous Man beer.
Taking place next weekend, September 12-13, the party has all the good stuff in life: music, food, beer, and (one can hope) Minnesota sunshine.
Local musician Steve Noonan kicks off the party at noon on Saturday, with the highlight coming from Duluth critical darlings Low, who will also be signing copies of new album Ones and Sixes — which you can stream today via NPR music — at 4:30 p.m. Grape Whales and Superior Siren will also play.
After a successful Record Store Day collaboration in April, the long-running record store is also working again with Dangerous Man, who have brewed a special Caraway Brown Ale that they’ll sell at their taproom over the weekend. Bring in a receipt from the Fetus for $1 off per pint.
Back at Electric Fetus, Glam Doll Donuts and Café Racer will supply food, and Red Bull and North Star craft soda will be available.
