Electric Fetus celebrating 42 years with discounts and the monthly MinnEconomy

The Electric Fetus has long been our cities' most widely respected independent record store (I'm not picking favorites here, but did Ringo Starr wear your store's shirt to the Grammys? Just sayin' is all), operating for two score and two and employing a laundry list of local scene stalwarts through the years.

To celebrate (we're admittedly a little late on this announcement, the sale began Tuesday) the Fetus is offering a discount of 20% off everything in all three stores and online - except for: tickets, tobacco, gift cards, Mix & Burn CDs, digital downloads, or items already on sale - through this Sunday, June 13th. I can finally get that Sade 2xLP I've had my eye on for months!

Also, tonight they will be hosting their monthly MinnEconomy show, with the Wapsipinicon and Chastity Brown who, as luck would have it, is featured in this week's edition of the paper. That starts around 7 p.m., and they're usually punctual.
