Doomtree book hits coffee tables in August
From Doomtree: Every Single Day
Doomtree just added another chapter, literally, to their hip-hop legacy in the Twin Cities. Out August 26, the crew has prepared Doomtree: Every Single Day, a 500-page book filled with up-close photographs, set lists, lyrics, gear, backstage moments, and more of what has made P.O.S., Dessa, Sims, Cecil Otter, Mike Mictlan, Lazerbeak, and Paper Tiger tick for over a decade.
For the Doomtree fan who has memorized every verse in Dessa's poetry collection A Pound of Steam or the recent convert, this massive collection of artifacts can fit on your shelf for $49.99.
A limited run of 1,500 copies of the 12" x 9" hardcover book is up for pre-order now. Pre-order to get a copy autographed by all seven Doomtree members, and the 22-track Best of False Hopes CD featuring unreleased tracks.
Here is the cover (with and without jacket):
The crew have also released a video highlighting the contents of Doomtree: Every Single Day:
The book's August 26 release is just in time for their performance at MN Music-On-A-Stick at the Minnesota State Fair on August 30. More info here.
