Dodi Phy memorial benefit planned at Nomad
The sad passing of emerging local rapper, Mohamed Turay -- aka Dodi Phy -- devastated the Twin Cities hip hop community back in February. Now, local artists and musicians have announced an event, Dodi Phy Forever, which will celebrate his life and his music at the Nomad World Pub on Sunday, May 18.
In addition to a wide array of performances scheduled, the event will also serve to raise awareness of depression and suicide within our communities. All proceeds from the evening will go directly to the children of Mohamed Turay.
