Cloud Cult releasing new album, Love, in March

Cloud Cult returns to the forefront with a new album this March titled Love. News of this release began trickling out in December, but it has added heft with the announcement that the band will headline the second night of 89.3 the Current's 8th birthday shows at First Avenue.

A new song called "1x1x1" premiered on-air today, and it's streaming at the Local Current blog. The Craig Minowa-led local painting-meets-rock collective, who were featured in a City Pages cover story two three (it's 2013, people) years ago, appear to be at the height of their dreamy powers. The cover art, as you might expect, conveys love as an artistic scrapbook.
