Bob Dylan releases another new track

Last week, Bob Dylan offered a free 24-hour download of his track "Beyond Here Lies Nothin'" off of his forthcoming album, Together Through Life. This week, Dylan is offering another glimpse at his new record with "Feel a Change Comin' On," which is streaming exclusively on Similar to "Beyond Here," "Feel a Change Comin' On" has a loose, rollicking feel, and features accordion work by David Hidalgo of Los Lobos.

In other Dylan news, even more of his extended interview with author Bill Flanagan has been published, this time on the Newsweek arts and entertainment blog Pop Vox. In the latest segment of the interview, Dylan takes a moment to opine on Barack Obama, saying that he was particularly intrigued by Obama after reading his memoir Dreams of My Father. "His writing style hits you on more than one level," Dylan says. "It makes you feel and think at the same time, and that is hard to do. He says profoundly outrageous things."

Beyond talking about the President (which is a rare occurrence; Dylan tends to shy away from speaking directly about current politics), he also talks candidly about wide-ranging topics like the civil war, reading autobiographies, and visiting Elvis Presley's hometown. Here's a highlight from the interview:

Are you a mystical person?

Any thoughts about why?
I think it's the land. The streams, the forests, the vast emptiness. The land created me. I'm wild and lonesome. Even as I travel the cities, I'm more at home in the vacant lots. But I have a love for humankind, a love of truth, and a love of justice. I think I have a dualistic nature. I'm more of an adventurous type than a relationship type.
