Yesterday, we joked that if we were going to keep reporting a new summer festival lineup each day until the weather improved -- and hey, waddya know, it's working! Yesterday evening, Cities 97 revealed the lineup for its annual two-night Basilica Block Party with a lengthy three-hours broadcast, and you can see the results below.

As with last year, Cities 97 appears to be gunning for some of the same indie market that is dominated by the Current (who revealed their Rock the Garden lineup on Tuesday), with acts like Lissie and the Drive-By Truckers mixed in with the more predictable headliners David Gray and Ray LaMontagne. There are alo a couple of intriguing TBA slots on the bill, including the act that will perform right before Gray on the main stage Friday night, July 8.

This year, the local contingent is being filled by two very different types of acts: The raucous, bluesy stomping of the 4onthefloor and the pristine pop melodies of Stuart D'Rozario. has yet to announce their happy hour stage performers as well, and that traditionally houses another small selection of local acts.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7. Single-night tickets are $40 and two-night passes are $70 (after June 26 and at the door, tickets will be $45 for one night and $80 for two nights). Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, and without service fees at the Local, the Liffey, Kieran's Irish Pub, and Cooper Irish Pub.
