Former 89.3 the Current on-air host Barb Abney has just announced via Twitter that she's picked up a new gig. On Thursday afternoon, it was announced that she has joined the recently reformatted Go 96.3 (formerly K-TWIN).

Due to a "programming decision," the Current replaced Abney with midday host Jade Tittle in late January. Abney joins K-TWIN vets Jason Nagel and Brian "BT" Turner on the Go staff. She will host the 8 a.m. to noon slot on weekdays until a morning show is announced, and then move to 9 a.m.
