Astronautalis and Sims re-team for Bridge Foundation benefit

Anyone who saw Astronautalis and Sims' rousing co-headlining show at First Avenue back in June has been waiting for the two MCs to announce another show together. Now fans have their chance to see them perform on the same stage once again, as they are set to play at the Garage, an all-ages club in Burnsville, on Saturday, January 11.
This is the third annual event held by the To The Bridge Foundation in memory of Tony Dolski, honoring his legacy by educating communities about chemical dependency while also helping those fighting addiction work their way towards the next stage of their life. The first two benefits helped raise over $10,000 which were then donated to half way houses, treatment facilities, and Augsburg College's Step-Up program.
The Garage in Burnsville is doing a wonderful job bringing in national and local acts to play all-ages shows in a substance-free environment. So, any young hip-hop fan in the area who has been hoping for more shows geared toward their age-group now has a big night to circle on the calendar. Sims and Astronautalis were amazing the last time the duo paired up together, and this show on January 11 should only build on that collaborative success.
