6 Foot 7 Foot by Lil Wayne: Weezy's back!
Recently released from confinement in prison, Lil Wayne this week stunned the hip hop world with the release of "6 Foot 7 Foot," the first single off the much-anticipated "Carter IV."
Anyone who thought Weezy was dropping off needs to check themselves--this is vintage Lil Wayne, most resembling "A Milli" in its frenzied delivery and infectiously repeated vocal backbeat.
The 4:10 song featuring Young Money stablemate Cory Gunz immediately leapt to the top of iTunes charts, garnering many five star reviews from fans heralding the return of Weezy in top form.
Super producer Bangladesh is responsible for both A-Milli and 6 Foot 7 Foot.
If it sounds like A Milli, there's a good reason: 6 Foot 7 Foot is produced by Bangladesh, who also produced A Milli.
Lil Wayne is a prolific rapper who releases new material seemingly every week, but he reserves his best efforts for the Carter album series. Just six weeks out of Rikers, Weezy is clearly wasting no time in getting serious about making up for lost time.
