Grand Cafe

3804 Grand Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN 55409 | Kingfield | 612-822-8260

Location Description:

The kitchen serves straightforward fare made with good ingredients, abiding by a philosophy dating to the days when people rolled their own pastas, cured their own meats, and pickled their own vegetables. Seasonally changing dishes may include pillowy gnocchi, roast game hen, and cassoulet. Several of the brunch offerings are good enough to rouse oneself from a lazy weekend slumber, such as the rapturous brioche French toast with orange caramel sauce, or the eggs on cocotte, a creamy concoction of poached eggs and ham with a hint of truffle.
