Children's Theatre Company

2400 3rd Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN 55404-3597 | Uptown/ Eat Street | 612-874-0400

Location Description:

Great theater fans are made, not born, and many young fans in the Twin Cities find their first delight in dazzling stage productions at the Children's Theater. A mixed cast of amateur children and professional adults adapt favorite books and bring original stories to life to the delight of young audiences. Performances are even graded so that parents know what is appropriate for their kids. In addition to the shows, the theater also engages the community to teach kids the fun and learning that can happen on stage, offering acting classes taught by professional actors. Located adjacent to the Minnesota Institute of Arts, it's the perfect place to see a spider spin a web, what happens if you give a mouse a cookie, or if you meet a very hungry caterpillar.
