In 1887, this statuesque building located on Concord in South St. Paul housed businesses associated with the stockyards that lined the river. The ensuing century brought a period of decline and renewal, and today the building houses many tenants, including Valentino's Nightclub. Valentino's, open Fridays and for special/private events, is modeled after a European-style nightclub and features plush furnishings, posh décor, molded gold ceilings and rich mahogany woodwork. With multiple levels and lounges, there's a spot for everyone whether it's to dance to DJs, throw in on Texas Hold 'Em, or chat quietly with a small group of friends. Important to note: for many events, cover charge is waived if you start off the night with a dinner in the adjoining Bourbon Street Steak House, and the night club does have a dress code.
