The HoneyBaked Ham Company was founded in a Michigan basement in 1957 by Harry J. Hoenselaar, the proud inventor of a spiral ham slicer. When no company would buy his invention, he circumvented the issue entirely by opening his very own ham store. HoneyBaked Hams are smoked for 24 hours, then (of course) spiral-sliced, so each piece bears a bit of the signature sweet, crunchy glaze. For the swine-avoidant, HoneyBaked Ham also offers roasted or smoked turkey breasts adorned with the same glaze. At Thanksgiving and Christmastime, lines at the Minneapolis / St. Paul location stretch out the door, so don't forget to pre-order or you may find yourself ham-less and alone. If ten pounds of protein isn't what you had in mind, the retail stores also offer sandwiches constructed with signature sliced meats, cheeses and fresh veggies. Smoke out your local HoneyBaked Ham Company on Voice Places.
