Off the beaten path in an unassuming strip mall in Midway is Peking Garden. The deceptively small storefront gives way to a well-appointed and sprawling interior, including space for weddings of up to 280 guests and tanks of live seafood and fish. The menu is equally expansive, boasting more than 200 items plus dim sum, ranging from Americanized items like sweet-and-sour chicken to traditional and authentic Chinese items you won"t find elsewhere, like squid with preserved sour mustard and roasted pig and oyster hot pot. Most entrees are $5 to $12, skewing slightly more expensive for specialty items like seafood and whole Peking duck. Order a la carte anytime, or opt for the buffet until 7 p.m. Either way you"ll have more options than room to eat them in one visit.
