Nina's Coffee Cafe

Encompassing all the charm of its Cathedral Hill backdrop, this neighborhood coffee shop (pronounced Nigh-nah"s) is the place to work on your novel, read someone else"s, or take your friends from out of town to show them how pretty St. Paul is. Full of atmosphere and beauty, this room, which was once a turn-of-the-century hotel, has stunning architectural features. And Garrison Keillor"s store, Common Good Books, is conveniently located downstairs. The food focus is local and organic, with soups and sandwiches and a lovely spinach salad with blue cheese, apples, walnuts, and Chef Zander"s vinaigrette. Sidewalk seating in summer.
