Meadowbrook Golf Course is a classic golf club located a short distance west of downtown Minneapolis, nestled amongst the charming neighborhood of the same name. Designed by John Foulis Jr. which was established way back in 1926, the stately old course has played host to many prestigious tournaments, including the 1947 Unisted States Public Golf Championship. The 18-hole course features lush, old growth trees that line the tight fairways, numerous water hazards -- Minnehaha Creek winds through many of the holes -- rolling hills, and strategically placed bunkers providing a stern but fair test for any golfer. The clubhouse offers full food and beverage choices, a lavish golf shop, and plenty of various facilities that can host special events of any size. Meadowbrook also has men's, women's, and junior leagues, as well as lesson programs for younger golfers.
