Godfather's Pizza

Why is a pizza chain founded in Omaha in 1973 and helmed by presidential aspirant and Tea Party activist Herman Cain from 1986 to 1996 named after a mob boss? The fedora-sporting gangster appearing in some of the Godfather's Pizza television commercials says things like, "If you don't like anchovies, you'll be sleeping with the fishes." But Minneapolis / St. Paul pizza lovers can rest assured these threats have never been carried out. Besides regular, pan, and thin-crust options, Godfather's also offers a gluten-free pizza crust made with rice flour, practically a requirement in today's carb-fearing society. Breadsticks, wings, giant pizza-sized chocolate chip cookies, and a massive salad bar round out the offerings at the 600 locations that span 39 states. Godfather's Pizza is easy to track down on Voice Places.
