Taking the place of the short-lived 501 Club, The Crooked Pint Ale House on Washington Avenue is poised to attract nearby office workers, sports fans, and others to its cozy newly wooded interior. The spacious two level bar hosts trivia nights, live music, and shows movies and football games on the big screen during the weekends. Their extensive menu of updated bar-food favorites is full of crowd-pleasers like tempura mushrooms, chorizo corn dogs, and cornmeal fried walleye sandwiches. In the mood for something lighter? Crooked Pint also has a lovely selection of not-boring salads including a fresh caprese (go for it during the summer) and one with roasted beets for the colder months.
