*CLOSED* The Soap Factory

This not-for-profit art space offers room for experimental and contemporary artists to stretch and engage audiences. As one of the first Twin Cities venues dedicated to showcasing visual art, the Soap Factory is surprisingly future-oriented, setting itself apart for innovation and experimentation. The gallery offers a unique production of contemporary art, featuring photography, sculpture, installation, performance, video, and painting art exhibitions from dozens of artists, hosting several thousand guests every year. Located in an historic riverside warehouse space, the space is also available for private rental. Admission is free, although donations are accepted. Ceasing operations at the end of 2019.
