Chris and Rob's Chicago's Taste Authority

Are you from Chicago? Are you dying to talk to someone about the Bears? Do you have a deep and haunting fear that your child may grow up not being able to tell a Maxwell Street Polish from a sport pepper? If any or all apply, head on down to Chris and Rob's (formerly Joey D's), a dog-and-beef palace run by two brothers, Chicago natives Chris and Rob Dubnecay. When you get there, put a pin in the Windy City map to show folks where you hail from, and dig into the best Chicago beef this side of the St. Croix. The bun is seared on the griddle, the hot peppers are homemade giardenera, the beef itself is dripping with that singular brown beefy goodness that makes you want to watch televised sports and unspool yards of paper towels to use as your napkin. All of which you can do here! Isn't life grand? (Vegetarians and enemies of the Chicago Bulls are advised to stay home, lest they be eaten.)
