Inspired by his time abroad in the Gold Coast, owner Chris Millner decided to bring Australia’s ubiquitous doner kebab to the streets of Minneapolis. Using Kickstarter to help fund his project, the ambitious student/entrepreneur was able to hit the ground running with sourcing as many authentic sauces, breads, and other ingredients as possible. The result is kebabs made with meat cooked on a rotating spit, fixed fresh to order, and wrapped in foil to make them very easy to consume on the go. Try a chicken, veggie, or traditional gyro (mixture of lamb and beef), or make your own with options like portabella mushrooms, pineapple, and an array of spicy and creamy condiments. When he’s not roaming Nicollet, you can often find Millner slinging his wares outside of local breweries and taprooms like Harriet Brewing Company in Longfellow and Fulton Brewery near Target Field.
