Wanderlust

Wanderlust

Camille LeFevre

The Weisman Art Museum is inviting viewers to peruse its fall exhibitions, with several enticements designed to satisfy autumnal wanderlust. During EXISTENTIA, a performance-art piece by Roger Niebor, participants receive readings that reveal their desires for upcoming travel. The Cycle Saint shrine, Jessica Zeglin's project, awards animal avatars to bicyclists. The Lego Train Clubs of both the Greater Midwest and Twin Cities are creating a display based on O. Winston Link's moody black-and-white train images. MFA students from the University of Minnesota's art department will also recreate one of Link's images at 7 p.m. this evening using a Green Line train. The resulting photograph will be promptly exhibited at the museum.
